Our commitment to an accessible experience.

Conformance target

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We treat WCAG 2.2 AA conformance as a launch gate for new functionality and as a regression target during ongoing work. Where WCAG 2.2 introduces success criteria not yet present in legacy guidance, we follow the 2.2 version.

Features we provide today

  • A keyboard-reachable skip-link on every page that moves focus directly to the main content
  • Semantic landmarks (header, main, footer) and a coherent heading hierarchy
  • A visible focus indicator on every interactive element
  • Color and text contrast tuned against WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements
  • Reduced-motion support: when your system requests reduced motion, ambient video, parallax, and scroll-driven animation are suppressed
  • Alternative text for all informative imagery; decorative imagery is marked as such
  • Form fields with explicit labels, in-line validation messages, and consent disclosures placed before submission

Known limitations

This site is a preleasing experience under active development. We track a rolling list of accessibility issues identified by our internal audit (most recently 2026-05-20) and by visitor feedback, and we work them in priority order. Active areas of remediation as of the effective date above include:

  • Live-region announcements for the priority-list drawer's open/close lifecycle
  • Background-content inerting while the drawer or lightbox is open
  • Pause control for ambient loop videos in the hero and closing sections

If you encounter a barrier that is not listed above, please tell us using the contact details below so we can prioritize it.

Reasonable accommodations

If any feature of this site or any step of the preleasing process presents a barrier for you, we will work with you to provide the information or complete the transaction in a way that meets your needs. This may include reading content over the phone, providing a transcript, accepting a submission by email or phone instead of through the online form, or arranging an in-person walkthrough at the leasing office.

We aim to acknowledge accommodation requests within 5 business days and to propose a workable path forward in that response.

Fair Housing

Bayside Sarasota is committed to Equal Housing Opportunity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other protected class. Disability-based reasonable accommodation requests related to leasing are handled by the leasing office on the same timeline described above.
